Stop northeast Winnipeg health cuts!
Enough is enough!
The Conservative plan to shut down the Community IV Program at Access Transcona is just the latest in a slew of cuts to northeast Winnipeg health services. This time they added insult to injury by failing to give advance notice of the change.
Conservatives can't get enough of cutting our health services
It wasn't enough for them to shut down CancerCare MB’s out-patient clinic at Concordia Hospital on December 4.
It wasn’t enough for them to remove Emergency services from northeast Winnipeg.
It wasn’t enough for them to torpedo the expansion to Park Manor.
It wasn’t enough for them to close the Concordia Hospital Home Team program, deny funding for the Concordia Wellness Centre and cancel plans for QuickCare Clinics in Transcona and East Kildonan.
All these cuts may not be enough for Conservatives, but let us make sure they know it’s been more than enough for the people who live in northeast Winnipeg!
It was the passion of community members that forced the Conservatives to convert the Concordia ER to Urgent Care instead of closing it all together.
